Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability.We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. Responsibilities Support Group IBG Head in formulating strategy in the business management process, including defining business models, refining business strategies, and ensuring alignment with an evolving business landscape Perform market research including macro trend assessment, market scoping and competitor analysis Collaborate with IBG leadership to develop strategy content by engaging business, country, Global Industry, segment and product heads.
This role may also involve cross-functional collaboration beyond IBG. Partner with business leaders to conduct periodic strategy reviews, budgeting/ forecasting, assess market shifts, evaluate opportunities, and deliberate on strategic choices and trade-offs.Organise and drive IBG-wide initiatives together with relevant Business Unit and Support Unit partners Lead in the business performance measurement of IBG through the Scorecard exercise Support IBG’s strategic communications across external forums (clients, media, analysts, interested parties, etc) and internal audiences including internal Bank & IBG staff Requirements 10+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating strategic thinking and adaptability, with knowledge of corporate banking coverage & products being advantageous Strong analytical, financial, and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to filter through complex information.
