URGENT!! Automation Engineer (Beckhoff) - Bedok

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9.30am - 6.00pm)
• PLC (Beckhoff)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system design, development and implement control solution.
• Plan and coordinate from start to finish, to ensure automation project complete within timeline
• Carry out system setup, conduct testing, simulation, validation and troubleshoot issue onsite.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure seamless implementation of automation systems.
• Actively provide technical support to maintenance team to resolve automation issues.
• Participate in systems modernisation work.
• Time management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Generate regular reports on automation project progress
• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and management

Requirements:

• Strong in communication skill and teamwork abilities to work with engineers, project managers and clients.
• Strong in problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong in Beckhoff plc structure text programming is preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
• Ability to plan and execute projects to ensure automation project complete within timeline.
• Knowledge in electrical system design and troubleshooting an advantage.
• Knowledge in computer networking and control system design.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethercat, Ethernet/IP,
• Profibus, RS422, RS485, Lon Works, OPC UA and MQTT
• Experience in testing and commissioning will be an advantage.
• Preferred 3 to 5 years’ experience from control automation industry.
