Full-Time Retail Associate – Echo Goods (Bugis+)

Echo Goods is seeking a reliable and execution-focused Full-Time Retail Associate to support daily operations at our anime & pop-culture merchandise kiosk in Bugis+.

• Provide professional, attentive and proactive customer service on the shop floor
• Actively observe customer behaviour and engage appropriately to support sales (not passive, not waiting for customers to approach)
• Operate POS systems accurately (cashiering, refunds, daily closing)
• Manage stock operations: receiving goods, stock-taking, replenishment and SKU categorisation
• Maintain store organisation, cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
• Assist with product launches, weekly restocking and inventory checks
• Support merchandising and display across multiple IP and product lines
• Manage basic customer communication channels (e.g. Telegram / WhatsApp groups)
• Assist with basic content posting (optional: design / video support)
• Perform general operational and administrative tasks as required

• Strong execution ability — able to follow instructions accurately and complete tasks without constant supervision
• High level of attentiveness on the shop floor — aware of customer behaviour and able to respond proactively
• Customer-focused mindset — understands when to approach, assist or engage customers appropriately
• Proactive and responsible — does not wait to be told; able to take initiative in maintaining store standards
• Positive attitude — no unnecessary complaints, able to work constructively in a small team environment
• Willingness to learn — able to pick up new systems, product knowledge and workflows quickly
• Detail-oriented and organised — especially for inventory handling and SKU management

• Bachelor’s degree and above
• Strong interest in anime / Japanese pop culture / IP-related merchandise
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently when required
• Comfortable handling stock-heavy environments and detailed operational work
• Able to categorise merchandise by IP / character / product type
• Good communication skills with a positive service mindset
• Able to work weekends and public holidays based on roster

• 1–2 years retail experience (anime goods, collectibles, hobby or lifestyle retail)
• Experience with event booths, online merchandise operations or fan communities
• Familiarity with high-SKU inventory environments
• Basic design / content creation skills (Canva / Photoshop / short-form video)

• 8h working time a day, 5-day work week
• 2 fixed rest days per week

• During probation (first 3 months): SGD 1,900 – 2,100
• Upon confirmation: SGD 2,100 – 2,300 (based on performance and capability)
