About the role
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment, and preventing injuries and accidents on site.- Salary: SGD 2,500 – 4,000 + meal and transport allowances (variable)
- Location: Tampines Industrial
- Working hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm, Friday 8am–5pm (5-day week)
- Conduct risk assessments and implement OHS policies and preventative measures
- Adhere to and enforce all site rules and regulations
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations; determine root causes
- Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and any other works that may pose a risk to employee safety
- Maintain safety documentation in accordance with ISO 45001 standards
- Carry out ad-hoc duties as required on site
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator in the semiconductor industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures, and potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience writing health and safety policies and procedures
- Valid certifications in: Manage Work at Height, First Aider, and WSH Coordinator Training
- Minimum qualification: Advanced Certificate in WSH
- Able to commence immediately or within a short notice period
