About the role
As a Project Coordinator at you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects. Working in a fulltime capacity from our West Region office, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution and monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and tradespeople to develop and implement detailed project plans
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate status updates to key stakeholders
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to support project timelines
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and performance reports
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other external parties to ensure projects meet all requirements
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members to build their project management capabilities
- Diploma or Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or project management
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar project coordination or project management role, preferably in the construction industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or CAD is a must
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
