The Financial Controller is responsible for managing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The role focuses on maintaining strong financial controls, overseeing compliance with regulatory standards and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all aspects of financial activities and ensure strong corporate financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, analysis and statutory reporting.
• Oversee and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, financial reports, special analysis and management reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze financial data and performance and provide strategic recommendations.
• Controlling the working capital and cash-flow management.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Good understanding of operating and capital expenditure, revenue, internal controls and budgets.
• Responsible for the accurate production of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet including WIP management and reporting
• Work closely with team mates to drive greater efficiency whilst increasing and driving staff motivation.
• Participate in enhancing processes and setting the overall control framework for the company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
• CPA certified will be an added advantage
• At least 10 - 15 years of related experience in financial control/management
• Familiarity with engineering sector would be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team
