Electrical / Electronic Technician

Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Inspect and test populated PCBs to identify faulty components, solder joints, or broken circuits using diagnostic tools.
- Component-Level Repair: Perform soldering and de-soldering of surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole components.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct functional tests on repaired boards to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Education: Requires a technical certificate or ITE NITEC in Electrical / Electronics technology or equivalent hands-on experience
- Soldering Expertise: Proficiency in soldering
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, etc
- Component Identification: Knowledge of resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits.
- Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) best practices and safety regulations.
