Our client, a prominent global player in the semiconductor sector, is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Category Manager in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for the strategic procurement of assembly and testing equipment.

• Monitor industry trends and supplier risk profiles to develop long-term supplier engagement strategies for assigned categories.
• Identify and source new business partners to align with the evolving needs of the organization.
• Formulate and implement strategies that drive continuous cost savings while ensuring quality and reliability of supply.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand long-term business needs and support strategic planning to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Plan and lead negotiations for tenders, contracts, and strategic partnerships to ensure optimal value for the organization.

• Preferably individuals with over 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
• Extensive experience in sourcing and supplier onboarding
