Job Purpose:
The Finance Manager (ERP) is responsible for assisting the ERP Project Team in assessing current financial processes (as-is), identifying gaps and inefficiencies, and mapping out the future state (to-be) processes in alignment with the ASEAN group’s business model.This role will ensure that ERP changes are designed to standardize processes while accounting for localization requirements, addressing regional business practices, regulatory needs, and operational nuances within the ASEAN group.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the ERP Project Team in the assessment of current financial processes (as-is) and identify gaps in existing systems and workflows
- Provide guidance to map out and design future state (to-be) processes that align with ASEAN group’s business model and operational needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and define requirements, ensuring that ERP changes address both local and regional needs
- Assist in the creation of detailed process flowcharts and documentation to visualize and communicate the new processes
- Provide training and support to finance and relevant teams on new ERP functionalities and optimized workflows
- Continuously assess and monitor the effectiveness of the ERP system, recommending and implementing improvements based on feedback and performance
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting
Experience & Competencies:
- Proven experience in finance project management, especially in ERP implementation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Solid understanding of finance processes and systems, with experience in process mapping and gap analysis
- Ability to create clear and actionable process flowcharts and documentation
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the ASEAN business environment and regional localization needs
- Meticulous, with an eye for details
- Possess good initiative
- Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
- High energy, high ownership of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results
- 2-yr Contract, Convertible to Permanent
- Working Location: 33 Tuas Bay Drive
- Working Hours: 7.45am to 4.30pm
- Company Transport from MRT (Tuas West Road)
