Finance Executive (Local Uni)

We are seeking a Finance Executive to support day-to-day financial, claims, and procurement operations within a research-focused environment.

• West, Singapore
• Up to $4,000/month
• 1-Year Contract
• Mon- Thurs, 8.30am - 5.45pm, Fri 8.30am – 5.15pm

Key Responsibilities

• Process claims and invoices submitted by project teams and research centres accurately and promptly
• Handle manual and system-based claims (transport, general claims, transcriber claims, visiting consultant claims, etc.)
• Verify supporting documents, funding availability, and compliance with financial policies
• Process invoices for part-time research staff and clarify discrepancies with stakeholders

• Review and process Purchase Requests (PRs) in accordance with procurement procedures
• Check Invitation to Quotation (ITQ) documents for accuracy and compliance
• Liaise with internal teams and vendors to resolve procurement-related issues

• Assist with ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned
• Support the finance team in ensuring smooth daily operations and internal control compliance

• Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred (fresh graduates are welcome!)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Responsible, systematic, and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Able to commit to a 6-month contract
