Job Description:
- Serve as the primary owner for assigned processes involving Trymax, Axcelis, and related equipment.
- Set up and optimize process recipes for newly introduced processes, equipment, and tools.
- Evaluate and characterize new processes to ensure process stability and performance.
- Perform DOE (Design of Experiments) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for critical processes and equipment.
- Make engineering decisions to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain stable yield performance.
- Ensure implementation of process procedures, SPC control, and an effective quality system.
- Collaborate with Device, Process Control, EWS, and QA engineers to improve Fab and EWS yield through DOE, PDCA, and SDCA methodologies.
- Analyze process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and control daily process performance using SPC for process input and output parameters.
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve yield, productivity, cycle time, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Support cost-saving projects by reducing material waste, minimizing downtime, increasing throughput, and eliminating redundant process steps.
- Improve cycle time through process capability enhancement, layout optimization, higher equipment throughput, and improved tool stability.
Job requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor Etch processes.
- Strong technical knowledge in Etch process development and recipe optimization.
- Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing environment and Etch equipment.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical understanding.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies preferred.
