Application Support Engineer

Seeking for an experienced Application Support Analyst/Engineer to support and enhance the stability, performance, and scalability of our client's critical financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2/3 support, troubleshoot complex issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Automate manual tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Enhance system monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to improve reliability.
- Support deployments and maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs, etc.).
Requirements:
- 3+ years in SRE or application support, preferably in financial services.
- Solid scripting skills and experience with Microsoft .NET (C#) and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with securities, derivatives, and back-office processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field; ITIL certification a plus.
