Production Operator - Toa Payoh

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, inspection, brazing, and assembly of refrigeration units in accordance with manufacturing instructions and method sheets.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and rework on assembled or tested units to ensure functionality.
• Assist in the design and development of jigs, fixtures, and parts trolleys to enhance production efficiency.
• Act as a trainer for new employees under the buddy system.

Key Duties:

• Assemble and inspect refrigeration units while maintaining required output and quality standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of tools, equipment, fixtures, and gauges used at the workstation.
• Support productivity improvements by contributing to the design of custom tools and fixtures.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to new team members.
• Identify and resolve faults in units through basic troubleshooting and rework.
• Conduct regular inspections of the work area and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and participate in accident investigations when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Accurately complete documentation such as checklists and component serial number records.
• Offer feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
