Our client is a European freight forwarding company with over 10 years of experience. They are seeking a Managing Director to lead their Singapore operations, with plans to scale up the business in the region. As Managing Director, they are looking for a leader with a strategic mindset to drive business growth, while also being hands-on enough to manage day-to-day operations effectively.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the company's freight forwarding operations in Singapore.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and high service quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a small team to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a proven track record as a Managing Director or in a senior leadership position.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting business objectives and developing strategic plans.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid knowledge of corporate law, branding, and product positioning.
