Tampines - Warehouse & logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and improve overall productivity.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customs, and industry standards for warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety aspects.
• Maintain a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and providing necessary training to warehouse staff.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for the warehouse, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs or replacements to minimize downtime and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Plan and implement new warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy and integrity of data in the warehouse management system.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of materials and products.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize their productivity and professional growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external stakeholders to ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in warehousing technologies and processes, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• 8 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role, with a successful track record of overseeing warehouse operations.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems and software.
• Strong understanding of legal, customs, and industry standards for warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and MS Office applications.

• 5.5 working days per week
• Salary: $4,000 to $6000 (Based on Experience)
