About the role

We are a switchboard manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing team in the North Region. As a fulltime Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality outputs.

• Supervise and coordinate the production team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Liaise with other departments, such as planning, quality and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
• Provide hands-on support and training to production staff to develop their skills and capabilities
• Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend process enhancements
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Contribute to the development and implementation of production strategies and policies

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong technical understanding of switchboard manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution
• Familiar with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Adaptable to changes and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
