Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Role Overview:As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with sales teams and potential clients to understand their technical requirements and business challenges. Leveraging your deep technical knowledge, you will design tailored solutions that showcase the value and capabilities of the company’s products or services.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and translate complex technical requirements into competitive proposals that address business needs.
• Act as a customer advocate, providing technical insights on application development projects and requirements.
• Bring over 10 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 5 years in architecture and design of complex systems using modern technologies such as Microservices and Agile development.
• Design the overall application framework, including tools, technology, API, system, and application software via agile methodology.
• Integrate and implement third-party products, enterprise solutions, and vendor solutions for pre-sales and business requirements.
• Devise application development solutions for new initiatives and expand the solution portfolio.
• Support the development team on technology usage and implementation.
• Participate in decision-making processes around technology strategy, conduct analyses on the technical viability of solutions, and provide guidance on the delivery of complex projects.
• Conduct research on best practices and new concepts/third-party tools, and effectively communicate and present these solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in complex application projects, delivery management, and/or leading solutions.
• Experience in designing cloud-native, event-based, and microservice architectures.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end enterprise architecture, including Enterprise Java Stack (JEE), Java Spring Boot, rich UI and front-end technologies (ReactJS, Kony, etc.), mobile applications (Android and iOS), middleware technologies (Tibco, Solace, Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.), and databases.
• Experience working in a cloud-native environment, including Spring Cloud Data, Spring Security, OAuth, service monitoring on cloud, and PaaS environments such as Pivotal and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft tech stack (e.g., .NET Core, C#) is a plus.
• Experience with web application and database design considerations.
• Proficiency in designing CI/CD pipelines for code and configuration development and deployments.
• Ability to apply design concepts such as layered architectures, components, interfaces, messaging, and patterns.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
