Lonza Singapore belongs to the Biologics business unit and plays a critical role in supporting GMP manufacturing operations for biopharmaceutical products. The Engineering team ensures smooth, reliable, and compliant operation of equipment and facilities to support the production of life-saving medicines.
As an Associate Engineer (Technician), you will be responsible for supporting validation and maintenance activities related to temperature-sensitive equipment (e.g., autoclaves, freezers, cold rooms), conducting elastomer change-outs, and assisting in the setup of new equipment.You will ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and company standards while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting project execution.

- Set up and maintain temperature mapping for critical equipment.
- Perform elastomer change-outs and routine maintenance activities.
- Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Provide technical assistance to Capex and engineering projects.
- Accurately record maintenance, calibration, and mapping results.
- Adhere to GMP, EHS, and safety standards; manage work permits for external vendors.
- Escalate non-compliance issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial).
- Good understanding of cGMPs and operation of a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
