Strategic Planning Intern

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a motivated intern to support the Singapore Cancer Society’s strategic planning work. You will assist in putting our 5-Year Strategic Plan into action and help track how well our programmes are doing. This is a great opportunity to learn how a non-profit organisation plans, measures, and improves its work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help roll out the SCS Strategic Plan FY2026–2030 by supporting departments to understand and apply the plan in their work.
• Assist in aligning teams’ work plans and budgets as part of the FY2026 Budget Exercise, together with the Finance and HR teams.
• Conduct research on healthcare trends, policy shifts, and social sector best practices to inform strategic priorities and decision-making.
• Coordinate and provide administrative support for strategic initiatives, meetings, and follow-ups involving multiple teams and partners.
• Help prepare simple reports and PowerPoint slides.

Criteria:

• Internship period: Sep 2025 to Feb 2026. Period of internship can be further discussed.
• Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Business, Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Internship need not necessarily be tied to your school's mandated internship requirement.
• Interested in social impact and health-related work.
• Good with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Organised, willing to learn, and able to work with different teams.
