Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of our Halal restaurant's daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in restaurant management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Halal requirements and practices in the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Manage and optimize inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste control, while ensuring all ingredients are Halal-certified and sourced from approved suppliers.
Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and Muis Halal certification standards and regulations at all times.Manage and maintain restaurant equipment, facilities, and cleanliness.
Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development:Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and company HR policies.
- Customer Experience:Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction, handling customer feedback and complaints effectively.
Maintain a high standard of restaurant presentation and ambiance.
- Financial Management:Manage budgets, control costs (food, labor, and overheads), and optimize sales.
Prepare and present regular reports on financial performance.
- Halal Compliance:Act as the primary point of contact for Muis Halal certification matters and ensure continuous compliance with all Halal requirements (Singapore Muis Halal Quality Management System - HalMQ).
Ensure all Muslim staff requirements for Halal certification are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a managerial role within the F&B industry, preferably in a Halal-certified restaurant.
- Halal Knowledge:Mandatory: Strong understanding and experience with Muis Halal certification requirements and practices in Singapore (HalMQ).
- Skills:Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in restaurant management software (POS systems, inventory management).Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
