Our client is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing solutions provider.
Responsibilities- Responsible for all automation related activities of the product.
- Responsible for the Maintenance and Repair of production automated machines.
- Continuous Improvement to enhance quality and productivity through automated processes
- Optimise automation parameters and meeting specific cycle time for existing and new products.
- Identify and initiate actions to prevent occurrence and recurrence of product, process, quality systems nonconformities
- Work on the automation concepts based on the customer product and process design requirements and get quote from suppliers accordingly.
- Liaise with both customer and suppliers to finalise automation design concepts and draft User Specification Requirements (URS) accordingly.
- Work with vendors closely to get automation qualified in time for Factory and Site Acceptance Test (FAT/SAT) based on URS and prepare technical reports to buy off the automation.
- To work with respective department on product quality issues.
- Execute process validation for new and existing products with tooling and quality personnel.
- Perform internal quality system audit.
- Analyze quality data collected periodically and provide recommendation to management for improvement
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering-related discipline, preferably Mechatronics
- Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA is an added advantage
- Results-oriented, meticulous and a self-motivated team player
