About the role
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Kuehne + Nagel (SGMY), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse located in the 10 Pioneer Crescent, Singapore Logistics Hub. This full-time position will see you leading a team of warehouse associates to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of all goods and materials.
What you'll be doing- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team to meet productivity and quality targets
- Oversee the receiving, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods and materials
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to maintain optimal levels
- Ensure that all warehouse operations adhere to standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations
- Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks to maintain workflow
- Provide training and coaching to warehouse associates to continuously improve their skills and performance
- Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse activities with the overall business objectives
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good communication and leadership abilities to effectively guide and motivate a team
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
- Must be Singaporean or Permanent Resident Only.
