Our client is seeking an Senior Accounts Executive (Accounting firm) to join their team!
About Our Client
Our client is an associate firm of an established accounting practice located in Singapore's CBD. They provide a wide range of corporate services, including corporate secretarial, accounting advisory, payroll, and cash management services to a diverse spectrum of clients both in Singapore and internationally.Their Business Process Outsourcing Division is seeking highly motivated, dynamic professionals with a keen sense of commitment to join their practice.
What you'll be doing?- Lead account preparation: Support the Team Leader in executing client account preparation and reviewing quarterly GST returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior staff: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Maintain service excellence: Ensure the firm's high service standards are met and client reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Contribute to team success: Undertake ad-hoc assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to overall team objectives.
- Accounting qualification: Hold a minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles.
- Relevant experience: Bring at least 2-3 years of experience from public accounting firms or similar roles, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality work.
- Independent worker: Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and autonomously, managing your tasks with minimal supervision.
- GST and FRS knowledge: Possess a good understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), essential for accurate financial reporting.
- Software proficiency: Working knowledge of Xero and MYOB software is preferred, but not mandatory. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
