We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Deputy HR Manager responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s compensation structures, payroll processes, policy governance and HR systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, optimizing payroll operations, and providing strategic direction on compensation matters to support the company's objectives.
This role will be based within Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG).
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head of HR in designing and implementing proactive compensation-related strategies, review compensation polices and processes. Provide guidance and support to management on compensation-related matters.
- Manage the annual salary review process, bonuses and promotions. Ensure an equitable compensation strategy to attract and retain employees, fostering job satisfaction and driving business performance.
- Oversee the entire payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payroll distribution.
- Work with the HR Executive and outsourced payroll vendor to administer salary and incentive payouts, including annual salary reviews. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all compensation-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for and manage payroll and compensation audits, including audit trail reports. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Prepare and present regular reports on payroll metrics, compensation trends, management reports based on the HR data analytics to senior management.
- Plan and monitor manpower budget and other HR budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of HR systems, including the claim system and Time Attendance System.
- Work closely with system vendors and HR teams, leading system upgrades, UAT and implementations to ensure system functionality, data integrity, and security.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on HR systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on compensation & benefits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a preference for familiarity with HR systems and data analytics tools.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently.
- Able to interact well with both internal and external stakeholders.
