Account Assistant

Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Description:

This role provides a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry of supplier invoices and staff claims into the accounting software and Excel
• Liaise with suppliers to reconcile Statements of Account (SOA)
• Prepare payment vouchers and ensure systematic filing of supplier documents on a monthly basis
• Review and verify staff claims for accuracy and compliance with internal policies
• Provide support for other ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties as required

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., MYOB)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support effective collaboration across departments
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and assist team members as needed
