As an Assistant Director (Business Development), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and drive business development strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives.
- Identify, originate, and execute high-value business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Own the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from opportunity sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and successful closure.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape, prioritise, and advance strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment, feasibility, and effective execution of business initiatives.
- Develop robust business cases supported by market research, insights, and financial analysis.
- Oversee and manage the business development pipeline, including forecasting, tracking, and performance reporting.
- Support the launch, implementation, and scaling of new services, programmes, and growth initiatives.
- Provide regular strategic insights and performance updates to management to inform decision-making and optimise outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Proven track record in originating and closing commercial deals or partnerships
