The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (S-P-M-S) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance.PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics. Over the years, S-P-M-S has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.
A Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory of Weibo Gao Lab at the School of Physical and Mathematical sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research activities related to NV center magnetometer.
Job Requirements:
- For the Research Assistant position, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in either material science or applied physics or relevant subject from well-established universities/institutes.
- The candidates must be highly motivated in multidisciplinary research. He/she must have proven experience in Quantum materials.
- The candidate should possess abilities to work independently as well as teamwork.
