About the Role

We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Senior Guest Service Officer to join our pre-opening team. You will oversee daily hotel operations, lead the team on shift, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role requires leadership, problem-solving, and operational oversight to help establish and maintain excellent service standards from the very start.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth, professional, and welcoming front desk operations.
  • Address guest inquiries, resolve escalated complaints, and deliver exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and special VIP arrangementsto ensure seamless operations.
  • Maximize revenue by promoting room upgrades and hotel services, while monitoring occupancy trends daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Compile and review daily operational reports, maintain accurate guest records, and ensure lobby areas are clean and well-presented.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared, operational issues are resolved promptly, and overall hotel readiness is maintained
  • Manage cashiering functions, including handling payments, reconciling transactions, and ensuring accurate shift closing and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, SOPs, and safety regulations; monitor hotel premises and report any incidents or irregularities.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff, support on-the-job training, and assist Management in manpower planning and scheduling.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management to support hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–4 years of hotel operations experience, with supervisory or shift leader experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Service-oriented with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
  • Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Well-groomed and professional
  • Physically able to support operational duties when required
