About the role

As an Electrical Engineering Assistant cum Drafter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team at Megawatts Engineering Services Pte Ltd, a leading provider of electrical engineering services. Based in the Pioneer Sector West Region, this full-time position will involve a range of responsibilities, from assisting with electrical design and drafting to providing technical support to the wider engineering function.

• Assisting with the design and development of electrical systems and components
• Preparing detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software
• Coordinating with project managers, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of electrical projects
• Conducting site surveys and investigations to gather data for electrical system design
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the engineering team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to electrical projects
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, codes, and best practices

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for drafting and design
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Relevant experience in the electrical engineering industry is preferred
