Job Description

Reporting to the AP Accountant, the Accounts Payable Officer plays an integral role in Finance Division and will be responsible for processing of AP invoices, support end to end Procure-to-Pay improvements initiatives and ensure they align with company-wide transformation initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate processing, recording and monitoring of incoming invoices
Perform 3-way match for AP Invoices & vendor reconciliation
Utilize the ERP system to generate reports, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries from both Internal and external stakeholders.
Provide support for system implementation, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Assist with audit-related matters.
Act as a team player and provide backup support for team members as needed.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Requirements

Min Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business in Accounting.
Min 1 year relevant experience in accounting
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and in SAP Accounting system is preferrable but not a must.
Good communications and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and handle high transaction volume environments

Note - This is a 3 to 6 months contract position.
