CNC Machinist

The Job:

• Operate and set up CNC Spinner (Auto Lathe) machines.
• Perform CNC programming, setup, tooling, and offset adjustments. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Collaborate with the engineering , programming and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support operation of other CNC machines using Fanuc, Mazak and Siemens controls.
• Assist Diamond Turning Department when production when request.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety rules, and ASML specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and production records.

Pre-requisites:

• 'O' Level, Technical Certification or Diploma.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and trouble shooting in metal machining industry. Experience in handling auto lathe machine will be an added advantage.
• Strong CNC machining knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens or spinner CNC controls.
• Understanding of tooling, inserts, cutting parameters, and materials.
• Ability to work under tight tolerances and high surface finish requirements.
• Able to understand and interpreting GD&T.
• Able to use various precision measurement instruments for measurement.
• CNC programing experience is a must (Fanuc/Siemens / Spinner system).
• Able to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible/rotating shifts if required.
• Commited to safety and quality standards.
