Corporate Communications Intern (4-6 months)

The Corporate Communications Intern supports the organisation’s branding and marketing efforts at SUN-DAC. The intern works closely with the Corporate Communications Executive to manage marketing and communication events and channels, executing strategies and plans as directed.

The intern is also responsible for implementing organisation branding and public relations initiatives across various platforms. This role provides practical experience in analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying areas of improvement, and working within a social service environment.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Content Creation & Media Support
  • Assists in planning and producing content for social media and publicity (both photos and videos) for use on multiple platforms (e.g. e-newsletter, social media platforms)
  • Edits short videos using editing tools such as CapCut/Adobe Premier Pro
  • Supports with photography and videography for beneficiaries' activities, programmes, and events
  • Creates promotional narratives for major community initiatives
  • Ad-hoc social media tracking support
  1. Digital Marketing & Communications
  • Applies digital marketing strategies to enhance SUN-DAC's online resence
  • Implements social media management plans and content distribution
  1. Design Support
  • Assists with conceptualising and coordinating design and production of SUN-DAC merchandise
  1. Branding & Storytelling
  • Creates compelling narratives (such as visual infographics or written content) that showcase the experiences and stories of beneficiaries
  • Supports in maintaining a consistent brand look and tone of voice across all platforms

Core Job Requirements

Education

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field

Intern Duration

Must be available and committed for a minimum of 4-6 months

Skills
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in storytelling, photography, videography, and video editing
  • Proficient in communication tools, software, and platforms such as Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut, content management systems, and social media management tools (Meta Business Suite)
  • Good prioritisation skills, careful attention to details, and result-oriented
  • Passion to serve in the special needs sector
