About the role
Duty Technician
The Duty Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining all engineering operations within the hotel. He/she will ensure compliance with maintenance standards, monitor supplies, and respond to emergency breakdowns while aligning with hotel policies.
What you will do- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hotel guestrooms and key machinery, ensuring upkeep from air conditioning to refrigeration functions flawlessly.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel’s power plant systems, including heating, air conditioning, and power.
- Follow hotel policies and corporate guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Preferably a Diploma holder in Building/Facilities Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year as Building/Facilities Technician with hands-on experience, preferably in a hospitality or facilities-related field, will be an added advantage
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems in a hotel or similar environment is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
- Strong commitment to safety and following operational procedures.
- Positive learning attitude, an eye for details, being actively prepared for urgent/emergency work, and a growth mindset

Schedule & Hours:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work on weekends and festive holidays.
