Job Responsibilities:

• Build and manage strategic relationships with Japanese corporates and institutional investors, including IR activities
• Collaborate with startups in Southeast Asia and India to support business partnerships, joint ventures, and market expansion
• Identify and support investment and partnership opportunities, including PoC design, negotiation, and strategic analysis
• Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies and prepare investor reporting
• Co-create new models of venture capital value creation by working with diverse stakeholders across Japan and Asia

You will serve as a cross-border bridge between Japan and Asia, playing a role beyond capital — connecting businesses, people, and ideas.

Qualifications:

• Experience in technology sector investments or startup support at a bank, securities firm, VC, or institutional investor
• Experience in new business development, strategic alliances, or international expansion at a startup or operating company
• To collaborate with stakeholders across Japan, Asia, and globally - Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English is essential
• Familiarity with or interest in investment / middle office functions, including IR, risk/operations design, and reporting, is a plus
