Bedok - Senior Fire Safety Manager (based at Clementi)

Our client is looking for an experienced professional to oversee fire safety operations, ensure compliance with fire safety regulation and maintaining firefighting facilities for an assigned large property around Clementi (West). This role involves planning, executing and supervising fire emergency procedures to safeguard occupants and property assets.

• Oversee fire safety compliance and maintenance of firefighting facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections.
• Submit annual report to Fire Safety Bureau (FSB) for fire certificate renewal.
• Develop and implement an effective Fire Safety Management Program, including monthly fire safety inspections.
• Ensure the fire emergency plan is implemented and followed at all times.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of all fire protection systems.
• Monitor occupant load limits to comply with fire code regulations.
• Identify and address fire hazard conditions/risks within the property.
• Formulate and execute fire emergency drills to familiarize occupants with evacuation procedures.
• Train and guide site staff in co-ordinating fire fighting and evacuation procedures during emergencies.
• Supervise and manage the fire command centre in the event of emergencies.
• Assist employer/client in complying with fire safety requirements and emergency planning as per fire Safety Act.
• Perform additional duties as required by Commissioner under Fire Safety Act.

• Minimum Diploma qualifications.
• Senior Fire Safety Manager certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership, technical expertise in fire safety and ability to co-ordinate emergency responses effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
