Optometrist (Clinic/Office Hour)(ID: 700062)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct refractions and comprehensive eye tests.
• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic and investigative equipment (training provided).
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
• Evaluate patients clinically and assist doctors during consultations and clinic operations.
• Handle general administrative duties, including submissions and logistics.
• Provide pre- and post-operative counseling along with financial guidance for patients.
• Manage front counter tasks such as patient registration, preparation and dispensing of medications, payment collection, and appointment scheduling.
• Educate patients on their vision status and the effective use of various optical aids.
• Address patient inquiries and maintain the good condition of equipment.
• Ensure accurate medical records for all patients.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Optometry.
• Fully registered (Full-Reg and Pre-Reg) with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
• Ability to work independently and exhibit proactivity.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
