Logistics Manager
About the role
As the Logistics Manager at Phoenix International Freight Services Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end logistics operations for the company. Based in the vibrant Singapore River Central Region, this full-time position will see you managing a team of freight forwarding professionals to ensure seamless and efficient cargo movement across multiple modes of transportation.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and oversee the daily logistics operations, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring freight movements
- Manage a team of freight forwarding specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Liaise with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
- Analyse data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve overall logistics efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's overall business objectives
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics management role, preferably in the freight forwarding industry
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, including air, sea, and land transportation
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
