Senior Project Manager / Project Manager (Special Projects)

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the construction industry in Greenfield project or Additional & Alteration (A&A) works including at least 5 years in a Project Manager role
• Strong decision-making skills with a results-focused mindset
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Highly motivated with the ability to work under tight schedules

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects.
• Assemble, coordinate project staff, and provide direction and support to the project team.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
• Manage project resource and ensure effective allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Executive Director
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project output.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Report issues to Executive Director on a timely manner and propose appropriate solutions on project assigned.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, encouraging accountability and positive performance.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Executive Director
