Business Development Manager – Rachelle The Rabbit Distillery

Location: Singapore

Reports to: Co-founders

Position Overview

This role is with Rachelle The Rabbit Distillery (RTR), Singapore’s largest distillery, known for crafting its proprietary brand, Compendium Spirits, alongside new brands and product lines in development. As RTR undergoes a transformation in its brand identity and structure, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening key partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Performance Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company-set sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • Develop new clients, distributors, and key accounts;
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships to enhance customer value and repeat purchase rates;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  1. Business Development
  • Expand the company's distribution network and market coverage;
  • Conduct business negotiations within authorized limits;
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partners.
  1. Customer & Channel Management
  • Regularly visit and maintain key channel clients to ensure service quality;
  • Manage order planning, sales forecasting, and sales data analysis;
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  1. Brand and Market Positioning
  • Ensure clients maintain the company's established brand positioning and pricing strategy throughout the sales process;
  • Support marketing campaigns, tasting events, promotions, and industry activities;
  • Provide market feedback to the company to assist in product optimization and brand strategy development.
  1. Reporting and Administration
  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and sales pipeline progress updates;
  • Maintain customer records and relevant sales documentation;
  • Collaborate with the finance department to track accounts receivable and overdue payments.
Key Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales or business development experience in the alcohol, spirits, or F&B industry.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of on-trade and off-trade sales dynamics.
  • Passion for premium spirits, craft cocktails, and whisky culture.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
