Cloud Security Engineer - Bukit Merah

The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining security solutions across cloud and hybrid environments to protect company data and infrastructure. The role involves responding to security incidents, deploying security technologies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strong security posture across platforms such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support remediation efforts.
• Contribute to threat intelligence and incident response activities.

• Implement and maintain security controls for AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker environments.
• Support compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CCM).
• Assist in the development of cloud security policies and procedures.

• Support deployment of security tools like WAF, SIEM, and IAM solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps/IT teams on secure cloud configurations.
• Participate in security automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) projects.

• Work with internal teams to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation for policies, procedures, and incidents.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security threats and trends.

• Coordinate with vendors and support teams to address security issues.
• Engage in relevant training to stay updated on security tools and practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security or Cloud Security roles.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure security features.
• Familiarity with cloud security risks, mitigation strategies, and best practices.
• Experience with tools such as IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and log management.
• Proficient in SIEM platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, or Securonix).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with WAFs and proxy tools is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, CEH.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
