About the role

Powen Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our engineering projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

This is a full-time position based in the Central Region.

Job Description

Manage the execution of engineering projects from inception to completion, overseeing all technical and commercial aspects
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and smooth project coordination
Conduct site inspections, monitor project progress, and address any issues or challenges that arise
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation
Ensure projects comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving measures
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the engineering team

Requirement

A NITEC/Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar project engineering role, with strong experience in Singapore Built Environment Requirements
Strong technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a project environment
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
