About the role
We are seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at THK DESIGN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in the City Region. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and development of innovative structural solutions for our diverse range of projects.This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding assignments, contributing to the company's success and growth.
What you'll be doing- Conducting structural analysis and design for various building and infrastructure projects
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop optimal structural designs that meet safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness requirements
- Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to support project deliverables
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction phase
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in structural engineering and construction techniques
- A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and project delivery within the engineering industry
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis and design using various software tools (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000)
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant building codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented approach to work
