Job Description

Responsible for developing new sales leads, understanding the customers’ requirements, and ensuring a smooth sales process
Generate sales quotations promptly and accurately
Communicate with customers closely to follow up on new and existing businesses
Procure monthly and spot ocean freight rates from liners
Identify and propose internally for the most cost-efficient solution to fulfill our business commitment to customers.
Identifying sales opportunities by understanding customers’ needs
Ensure effective cost management and productivity improvement skills to drive overall quality, implement best practices, cost, and continuous improvement
Ensure resourcefulness and ability to leverage functional area expertise when handling customers

Requirements

A diploma or degree in business, logistics or a related discipline
At least 10 years of experience within the logistics supply chain sectors
Strong coordination abilities with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively across planning, operations, and finance departments
Good personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and diplomacy while dealing with complex issues
Established track record in cultivating strong client relationships and handling service issues with professionalism and composure
Able to analyze data and recommend solutions for improvement
