Position Title: Technical Support Officer – (School Environment)

As Technical Support Officer and play a vital role in supporting both full-time and continuing education programmes. You will:

• Prepare and maintain computer labs for classes, training, and events, ensuring safety and readiness of equipment
• Support both Mac and PC systems, including software installation, system updates, and performance tuning
• Provide assistance in multimedia production tasks such as video shooting, editing, and graphic design
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing and repair
• Manage administrative tasks including lab bookings, procurement support, and equipment utilization reporting
• Collaborating with the Lab Manager to carry out bi-annual inventory checks
• Assist in the coordination and logistics for school-wide events or ad-hoc activities
• Ensure compliance with all QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines and protocols
• Work closely with educators and students to ensure smooth tech operations for academic activities

What Are We Looking For?

We're seeking a proactive team player with a passion for tech and education. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Digital Media, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant hands-on experience in digital content creation, IT systems, or media production support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and similar digital tools
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining both Mac and Windows systems in a lab environment
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
• Experience with coordinating equipment servicing and vendor management is a plus
• A positive attitude and flexibility to support school events or projects as needed
