Get to Know the Role
We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our manufacturing line through machine upkeep, product analysis, and continuous improvement projects, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Essential Responsibilities- Process Technician OR
- Execute manufacturing processes according to established procedures and guidelines
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products
- Prepare raw materials for production processes
- Conduct visual quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Update daily downtime records and monitor yield for process optimization
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and all job duties, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date
- Analysis Technician OR
- Conduct data checks on the inspection plate from different process steps to ensure alignment with product specifications and customer requirements
- Update the judgement results for all process steps in the shipment file for different customers
- Review images generated by inspection tools and allocate plates to different customers according to specific requirements and demand
- Update and monitor quality performance indicators for each shipment. Provide feedback to relevant departments regarding quality issues
- Work closely with QA team on matters related to customer specification
- Work closely with production team and update judgement results in a timely manner ensure plate flow to downstream processes
- Maintenance Technician
- Perform day-to-day machines preventive maintenance (1P, 2P, 3P, EP, & MRFs) and upgrading, modification or improvement work
- Perform daily machine parameters check, record into check sheets, and update SPC trends
- Compile engineering defect check result, flatness, profile, and immediately trigger to engineers if abnormality or non-conformance products found
- Conduct thorough investigation, process tuning, and monitor the performance before release machine to production
- Carefully handle, inspect, and package finished mask blanks using specialized cleanroom materials (e.g., protective cassettes, RSPs, or anti-static packaging) while adhering to customer-specific packing and labelling specifications
- Record packaging data, complete production logs, and ensure all documentation aligns with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards)
- Prepare weekly equipment performance records
Skills and Competencies Profile
Required Qualifications:
- NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, fresh graduates may apply
- 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles, is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data tracking and reporting
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning machine technologies and procedures.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willing to work in a 12-hour rotating day/night shift (4 working days/ 3 rest days/ 3 working days/ 4 rest days).
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
