Quantity Surveyor (Construction /Tender) | S$4,500 basic higher + AWS

• Salary: Up to $6,000 basic + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Working Location: Yishun North Region
• Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Yishun North Region.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization and delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures, and provide regular financial reports to project managers.
• Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities throughout the construction process.
• Advise on contractual and commercial matters, and resolve disputes when necessary.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline.

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and relevant tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in the construction sector.
