R&D Engineer (Electronics Component) / Product Manager (Integrated Circuit) - Toa Payoh

We're Hiring: R&D Engineer (Electronics Component – EMC) & Product Manager (Integrated Circuit)

Join a forward-thinking technology company pushing the boundaries in electronic component development and integrated circuit innovation. We're expanding our team with two critical roles for individuals passionate about R&D and product strategy in the electronics and semiconductor domains.

• 1. R&D Engineer (Electronics Component – EMC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic components with a focus on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of EMC filters, chokes, and magnetic components.
• Investigate and resolve EMI issues at the component level in collaboration with system design teams.
• Drive design optimization for reliability, thermal performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with product, QA, and manufacturing teams for product industrialization and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience in designing passive components (inductors, transformers, filters).
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI standards and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as ANSYS, Maxwell, or LTspice.
• Hands-on experience in lab measurements and prototyping.
• 2. Product Manager (Integrated Circuit)

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for integrated circuits, including product definition, development, and commercialization.
• Translate customer needs into product specifications and work closely with R&D to drive execution.
• Develop product roadmaps and value propositions aligned with market and technology trends.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies.
• Support sales and application teams with technical documentation, training, and pre-sales support.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; specialization in semiconductors or IC design is an advantage.
• Experience in product management for analog, mixed-signal, or power ICs (e.g., DC-DC converters, PMICs).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor product development and manufacturing.
• Effective communicator with cross-functional leadership ability.
