Responsibilities:
- Carrying out substrate preparation and lacquer preparation in a chemical lab per specifications and following work instructions.
- Careful and diligent in carrying out lab work such as weighing out and adding of chemical ingredients, operating equipment, making measurements.
- Working in team to prepare prototype samples and to perform characterization measurements according to project expectation.
- Shared responsibility to keep inventories of ingredients and consumable updated, put up order to top up and to keep proper housekeeping.
- Participate in problem solving, new concept development, and other continuous improvement opportunities.
- Diploma or Certificate (Nitec) in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology or similar.
- Experience working in a chemical lab.
- Familiar with surface preparation, coating formulating and surface properties measurements.
- Familiar with handling of chemicals per SDS.
- Strong in problem solving.
