Construction Supervisor

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Engineering industry is seeking a Construction Supervisor to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Site/ Construction Supervisor
• Location: West (Nearest MRT: Gul Circle)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm; Sat half day, 8.30am to 12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that all activities align with project plans, schedules, and timelines.
• Oversee and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and related activities. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and address performance or interpersonal issues as needed.
• Uphold workplace health and safety standards by conducting regular site inspections and ensuring that all workers adhere to established safety protocols.
• Review ongoing work to ensure it meets required quality standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Oversee the timely delivery and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment. Ensure resources are available, functional, and efficiently utilized.
• Serve as the main point of contact between site teams, project managers, engineers, and clients. Provide consistent updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
• Respond promptly to any delays, equipment malfunctions, or unforeseen site challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in construction, with demonstrated ability in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Possess relevant cert such as OSHA or equivalent is advantageous; Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is a plus.
• Class 3 driving license preferred.
