Part Time Cook (Food and Hygiene / Halal / Part Time / Immediate / islandwide)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Muslim Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in preparing halal cuisine and a strong understanding of halal food handling practices. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with halal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of halal dishes (e.g., Malay, Middle Eastern, or other cuisines as required)
• Ensure all food preparation adheres strictly to halal guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Assist in menu planning and food presentation
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper food storage
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

• Muslim candidate with knowledge of halal food preparation
• Food and Hygiene Cert is a MUST
• Proven experience as a chef or cook (part-time or full-time)
• Familiarity with halal certification standards is a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good time management and teamwork skills
